FBC Ministries

Youth Ministry

In addition to their Sunday School hour and Wednesday Night Bible study, our youth also enjoy various events and activities together! Be sure to contact us for more information!

Children's
Ministry

Our children’s ministry is growing quickly!  Our current curriculum is focused on teaching children to know Jesus and to be able to defend their faith against the challenges of the world.  We think keeping parents involved in teaching their kids is critical to this goal.  Therefore, we also endeavor to equip parents to guide their child’s growth throughout each week.  If you’re visiting with us, be sure to meet Ashley Wise, our Children’s Ministry Director.

Music Ministry

The FBC music team is focused on guiding our congregation to bow before Jesus, the King of kings, with a fully submitted heart in open and honest relationship with him.

Our music style incorporates all sorts of instruments – anything our team can play well to the glory of God – and all sorts of musical styles as well.  Our guiding principle is that the lyrics of our music be scriptural and God-glorifying, and that the quality of our music be excellent and uplifting, not distracting or self-centered.

If you have a heart to humbly praise God with your voice or instrument, we would love to have you join us in giving Him glory!  Just let Dr. Jamie Killion know.  He’ll be sure to get you plugged in!

Deacon's
Ministry

Our deacons handle all sorts of essential functions, from supervising the uses of our property, to suggesting improvements to grounds and ministries, to implementing the work of our vision and goals!

Especially important, too, is the work they do in monitoring and serving the health of our membership body.   At least once a month (more frequently if needed), they meet to address the spiritual and physical concerns of the church.  If you have a need for anything, they will most likely have a hand in seeing that it gets prayed for thoroughly and addressed wisely!  Please feel free to bring any need or concern to their attention.  Our current deacon chairman is Brian Harris.
